Territorial Airwaves ID Liner - Hauoli Akaka

Hauoli Akaka was yet another one of the successors to Larry Lindsey Kimura as a co-host of the long running Hawaiian language radio program, "Ka Leo Hawaii", on KCCN 1420 AM Station Aloha. Hauoli taught Hawaiian language at Kailua High School for many years, and is now head of a similar department with the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA). Released on: 06-20-2007

Puakea Nogelmeier was one of the successors to Larry Lindsey Kimura as a co-host of the long running Hawaiian language radio program, "Ka Leo Hawaii" on KCCN 1420 AM Station Aloha.
His work at the University of Hawaii, and his numerous contributions to Hawaiian translation and subsequently new Hawaiian mele composition, has thrust Pua into the center of the world of Hawaiian music.

Bill Von Osdol broke into radio in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii in the late 1980s.
He arrived in Honolulu, and along with the Honolulu Skylark created the powerhouse station KCCN FM (FM 100), in 1990.
Known today as "Billy V", he is now the morning man on Hawaiian 105 KINE FM. Released on: 06-20-2007

Brickwood Galuteria has combined his lives as a radio & television personality, with his interests in politics and business, to become one of Hawaii's most recognizable individuals.
He achieved lofty ratings twice:

2) with Frank B. Shaner on Hawaiian 105 KINE.

Sam Kapu aka: the "Menehune of the Microphone", has been broadcasting on Hawaiian radio since 1966. He also spent several years as Don Ho's protoge, becoming a mainstay on the Don Ho shows.
