Tau Moe Family with Bob Brozman

In 1989, Territorial Airwaves was 10 years old, but only broadcasting in the Hawaiian Islands.
A young acoustic steel guitar player and collector found a 1929 recording by Madame Riveire’s Hawaiians in San Francisco.
He fell in love with the music.
He eventually came to Hawaii, found Tau Moe, that early steel guitarist on the record, along with his wife, Rose Moe, the lead vocalist.
Bob recorded the entire family, including son Lani and daughter Dorian, performing their music from 60 years prior.
Upon finishing the recording, Bob learned about Territorial Airwaves from the Moe Family.
He immediately contacted e and arranged for them all to perform live at a Territoral Airwaves broadcast from the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki.
From 1989 but sounding much older, we’ll share this memorable music.
