Country Comfort - 1975

In 1975, Trim Records released an album produced by Cyrus Faryar, for Herb Pinensky, called, “We Are The Children”, featuring Country Comfort.
Country Comfort, a group formed in Waimanalo, featured:
Bill (Kaui) Enos on most of the lead vocals and guitar;
Chuckie Lee on lead acoustic guitar and harmony vocals;
& Jimmy Freudenberg on guitar and harmony vocals.
Eugene Matsumura played percussion, while Randy Lorenzo played bass, and electric guitar.
Although the band played at the Stye Restaurant in Niu Valley as early as 1971, they did not record until 1975, and broke up shortly after the release of their 2nd album in 1976.
Today, we’ll share some of our favorite recordings from “We Are The Children” from 1975.
